The room size is standard for Paris but the have spared no expense on the bathroom. The room was called the Romance Suite and they really did a great job on the ambiance. The two memorable features was the full view of the Eiffel Tower from in front of the bed. At night it was amazing. Also there was a view of Notre Dame if you leaned out the window. All in all a very memorable part of our trip.
The only challenge was that it was tough to get our luggage up and down the tiny spiral staircase and through the door just off the elevator.
What a gem of a hotel! Right on the St Michel-Notre Dame station of the rer line from the airport so no need to change lines on the metro. View of Notre Dame if leant out of window and right in the hub of the Latin Quarter but no noise as sound-proof windows . Luxembourg gardens, Ile de Louis, the Seine all only a short walk away ~ location could not be better. The room was spotlessly clean and had a luxurious feel to it and the staff could not have been friendlier or more helpful. We travelled with our 6 year old daughter and had an extra bed in the room and she loved it.
Excellent location, relaxed and helpful staff. Once inside the hotel it is hard to believe that it is in the centre of so much activity: the soundproofing is excellent!
Clean, stylish, convenient location and unexpectedly a room with a view of the Eiffel Tower
good cost-performance ratio (offer in booking!!)
I've stayed there before and the location is superb as well as the style of the hotel
Some of the receptionists are not very friendky
Good location, clean room and comfortable bed.
It can be a little noisy at night, rooms are pretty small and no shower curtain in the bathroom, but anything too bad.
Excellent for citytrippers. Clean and central. Would definitely go there again.
A little on the small side but normal for Parisian standards.
Hotel is in a very good location near many visitor attractions with good connections both by RER and bus. A varied choice of good restaurants are in the vicinity. Given the above we would recommend this hotel but only under reservation with regard to the comments noted below.
The bedroom was extremely small with little room for access to luggage. The en suite was outdated and shower facility very cramped. During our stay scaffolding was erected around the building, the exterior of which was under renovation. We had read in the small print that the scaffolding would be there till end of June only! Access to first floor by a spiral staircase and so all luggage had to be carried up. Being of mature age we were astounded that the able bodied young man who would have observed our arrival on the CCTV located at the entrance made no attempt to help with luggage. Had we been much older this would have been a considerable problem. The charge for the extremely room is in our view excessive. Indeed, it is now advertised as being only 71euros per night and we paid more than double.
Hotel is really well located, near Notre dame and many jazz clubs, restaurants, and shopping. Hotel is a charming french style buliding with small rooms, dont expect american look like building, but if you are european-minded you will enjoy for sure, just two steps from rer b where you came from the airport.
Shower has not much pressure.
No mentioning of renovation of the facade, which ment that when you open the curtains in the morning you are surprised to see a group of workers in front of you. This should be mentioned on hotel's page and discounted rates should apply.
The location of the hotel was perfect for exploring central Paris in a short amount of time. The room was quiet and featured a balcony.
The bed was not as comfortable as expected.
Excellent location. Balcony on 5th floor, nice hall. Nice interier. Good bed. Nice bathroom stuff (shampoo, gel, etc..).
Dampness smell in the room, there was puddle on the ceiling (after the rain). Too expensive, no parking around, small rooms.
Great view of Eiffel Tower, well located central, easy metro and rer access.
Tiny room, some staff rude.
We booked a normal room, but it seems they were overbooked so they gave us a suite, no extra charge... I would really recommend this "suite romance", a really beautiful room
The people at the front desk were quite unfriendly in general, no greetings or goodbye... quite parisian
